What's the deal with Beef?
Is it me, or is rapper beef getting really old? Back in the day there was stage beef; battle of the best, battles on the mic. Afterwards it was all peace and pounds.....what is the deal with the beef which extends past the stage? If it's truly personal, why are you allowing it to affect your job (rapping); and if poking and jabbing at other emcees is your only way to get noticed as an artist...then perhaps you need to pick up that pen again and try some new rhymes...no? What is your opinion people? Let's get this discussion out there....What's the deal with THE BEEF?

I think that beef is bound to happen, with so much testosterone going how could it not. i think an emcee battle has to be sold as beef cause then who would care in a sense like boxing, u usually cant wait to see fighters fight if the hate eacch other just as use full it is for us the fan to be more interested, im sure it allows them to be more in a zone. i dont know about yall but id rather see lenox a tyson go at it pissed then them saying just stepping in and out and thats it. I think beef is bound to happen and but id prefer it to be a dislike and fuck you on the track type beef instead of the alleged jeezy, gucci beef

If it want for beef Music would not be what it is 2day. like yeah im young and what not but beef is something that makes me wanna here most of these rappers music 2day lol and also its how u get ya name up like if any one of us make a dis song about jay z or 50 cent i bet we get a deal or at least some shine lol

I GET what you guys are saying and there is DEF truth to you points. I like that....I think MY personal problem with THE BEEF is that I don't believe it. You know what I mean? Like Chino said..when there is this "alleged beef" being thrown out there, it's like ummm...yeah WEAK! You feel me? It was more interesting to watch Jay Z and NAs go at it..whether or not they truly hated eachother as individuals didn't matter as much as knowing each cat truly believed they were better than one another. Not THAT's hot. The whole who can out rhyme who beef is tight to me, but the I am going atchu to launch my career or spark some interest is corny and sometimes backfires...ie. Cam against Jay. It's like son, if YOU know you can't win, why are u embarrassing yourself?!? It's like this....I knw emcees GOTTA be super confident, that is the code..but as an indvividual, you gotta know when you are not "yet" up to another homie's level. I get watch y'all are saying tho...I just don't like corny, BS beef.
